Returns & Exchanges

Thank you for reading my policies prior to purchase and I'm confident that you will love your new jewelry. Due to the handmade process and nature of the precious materials used in Shirlee Grund Jewelry, nearly all of our pieces are one-of-a-kind and custom made to your specifications. 

RING RESIZING

If you end up ordering the wrong size, resizing is usually possible and does not require an exchange. Please see our Ring Resizing page for details. 

RETURN POLICIES FOR REGULAR STOCK JEWELRY

Shirlee Grund Jewelry will accept returns up to 10 days after the item is delivered for all Regular Stock items - this includes most necklaces, earring, and in-stock rings that have not been resized for you.  Made to order rings are considered custom and are not returnable (see details below).

POLICIES FOR CUSTOM MADE JEWELRY

All made to order rings are considered custom and are not returnable. If you end up ordering the wrong size, resizing is usually possible. Exchanges will be considered on a case by case basis and may require a restocking fee of up to 30% of the purchase price to cover some of our labor and materials losses. Please order carefully and ask any questions in advance of purchase. We do guarantee the quality of our work and materials; if you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order and we will do our best to help. Custom designs, personalized orders and sale items are final sale with no exceptions.

RETURN PROCESS

To make a return, please review the above terms and email me to receive a return authorization number and shipping instructions. Items must be shipped insured and in their original condition and packaging. For your protection please insure the package for the full purchase amount. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the funds will be credited to you card. We do not refund shipping charges, unless we have sent an item in error.

**If you are purchasing an item for a gift or proposal and the time frame listed above regarding exchanges and returns doesn't work, please just send me a message prior to or at the time of purchase and we can work something out.

WARRANTY

I guarantee the quality of my work and materials, and want you to be happy with your jewelry for many years. Every jewelry piece is hand made by me under the tightest quality control standards and is carefully inspected prior to shipment. I guarantee my work for one year after the purchase date. Any damage deemed to be caused by a manufacturing defect will be repaired free of charge. 

My warranty does not cover loss, theft, damage due to rough treatment, and normal wear. It's a good idea to add all fine jewelry to a homeowners or renters policy which usually protects against loss, damage or theft.

CANCELLATIONS

Any cancellations of standard orders must be done within 24 hours from time of order to avoid any additional fees or charges. If more than 24 hours have passed and you wish to cancel your order please refer to our return policies for returning the merchandise back to us once you receive it. Please note there are no returns, refunds or exchanges on special/custom orders.
